Recently, I interacted with the head of the government at a closed forum where I observed, listened to, and shared my views on what should be considered to de-escalate the unrest and avoid such violence in the future. I learned about their commendable efforts and the challenges they face in handling the current situations.

I would like to recall a book I read titled "The Culture Code: The Secrets of Highly Successful Groups" by Daniel Coyle. It struck a chord with me, and I find that some of its teachings resonate with my experiences and interest.

While "The Culture Code" doesn't specifically focus on the impact of silence during corporate culture conflicts, it delves into the crucial role of leadership and communication in establishing successful organizational cultures. The government of India may encounter difficulties in devising an appropriate approach that upholds peace, harmony and addresses the root causes of the crisis.

A matter of intrigue is how Shri N Biren Singh can successfully convey the gravity of the situation in Manipur to his superiors in New Delhi. Shiri Biren Singh has already pointed out that the violence was orchestrated and executed by outsiders, sparking public discussions on the motives behind such acts.

After all, both the communities, have to co-exist regardless of the differences. Could this moment potentially redefine Manipur's future, leading to a positive transformation and the realization of building a peaceful harmony as OneManipur.

One hopes the government succeeds and may be credited and embraced by the Meitei and other communities for such a perspective outcome.

Nevertheless, an important question arises: Can anyone prevent strategically planned violence?
